Last night for no apparent reason I was suddenly overcome with a desperate urge to have a Crispin Glover movie marathon. I guess these things just happen on a lonely Thursday night.
Luckily my dear friend Charlotte Puppy Percival was on the other end of Twitter to link me to clips of Crispin in Friday the 13th part 4. Good times. If only there wasn't a few thousand miles between us and we could watch Willard or better yet, Rivers Edge.
I really wanted to watch Rivers Edge.
I wonder what got me thinking about it...
Was it because I was just suddenly struck with the remembrance of how much I love Crispin Glover as Layne, possibly the best Glover ever?
or was it all just because I was wearing a black ribbed knit hat yesterday?
Who knows...
Oh Layne.
Oh Layne.
That film is so damn good.
and also, as if Crispin wasn't enough, then there's Keanu being the dreamiest of dreamboats. Seriously, I always have time for Keanu, but this... dreamy-ness. O_O Don't even get me started...
Oh yeah, I never finished my draft from last February (just a short 11 months late...) but I should probably talk about the time Puppy and I met Crispin Glover.
He's literally radiant. More on that another time.
ps.

Sal!!! its a really great film, but its pretty dark too, not the comedy Layne might make you imagine! I wholeheartedly recommend it though. I miss you! I'm so behind on all my correspondence but when I get some time i'll send you a catch up mail, I hope birmingham is still treating you well xxxxx
